We have representatives from ten countries. We raise funds for the essential mama packs which are given to mothers who are 8 months pregnant. This pack contains all that a mother and baby need should the delivery be unassisted. The pack costs \u00a325. Each mother receives a hand knitted blanket \u2013 this is the first item these women receive that is new and that they can keep. We develop the women\u2019s self-sufficiency skills by establishing knitting workshops. We support a voluntary clinic in Kigali, a nursery school and a feeding project.
